Lake Girl Publishing is the imprint home of
all kinds of creativity with a purpose!
The newest addition is publishing, starting with a series of books set on magical Mackinac Island. To understand if you would like Being Ethel (In a world that loves Lucy), the first book in the series, take the little quiz on our books page! We think you will love it, a clean romance with some mystery and fun all wrapped up with your virtual trip to the Grand Hotel and the island in 1979.
We are a husband and wife team. I do the creative stuff, the writing, voice work, and art, and my husband Ray is the technical side of our company—formatting and keeping us on the rails of the many details that come with a publishing company.
Thank you for going on this journey with us. You coming along will make it even better. Don’t forget to let me know more about you through our connection page. Speaking of connecting, you have to be my friend and “liker” on Twitter, Instagram , Facebook. It wouldn’t be the same without you!
I'm also on Pinterest!
Stay in touch—there’s a new, crazy idea a minute for all things creative, joyful, and funny here at Lake Girl Publishing!
So many Blessings,
Michèle and Ray

With my long and storied background in marketing and advertising, it’s a dream come true to add “author” to the things I’ve always wanted to do!
With all the new stuff happening, I want you to know I can still be of service in the areas where I have eons of experience. Check out my voice demos to get a sampling of the wide variety of voice work I have done across the country and internationally. Do you need just the right voice for your next project? I’ve also written in every medium under the sun for many years, including print, audio, video, and of course —web and social media. Let’s connect if I can be of assistance to you in that arena.
I get so excited about watercolor and mixed medium and seeing what happens when the pen and the brush hit the paper! Check out my art—kind of on the whimsical side, don’t you think? Let me know if you’d like to talk about a piece hanging in your favorite place.
It’s time to share “life” with you including funny moments, cool little things that bring a smile for no reason, and the pursuit of faith with an awesome Father, Son, and, Holy Spirit who love hanging out with us earth people. What could be better than that?
